Pet product packaging

Pet products are heavy, awkward or fragile, and often all three. We design cartons and inserts around the product, so food, accessories and toys arrive in good condition and your brand looks good on the doorstep.

Why pet brands choose Complete Packaging

99.9% pick accuracy across more than 120,000 items picked every month, so the right flavour, size and quantity reaches the right customer.

Packaging and fulfilment under one roof. Our in-house team designs your packaging, stores your stock and packs your orders, so there is one team to speak to.

Room to grow. Pallet racking with capacity for more than 1,200 pallets means a bulk delivery of litter, bedding or food is not a problem.

Over 25 years of experience in fulfilment, packaging and distribution.

A dedicated account manager who knows your range and responds quickly.

How our pet supplies fulfilment works

1. Goods in. Your stock arrives and is checked, scanned and put away, so every product has a recorded location.

2. Orders arrive automatically. Our system integrates with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, eBay and more, so there is no manual order entry.

3. Pick and pack. Our team picks each order from dedicated pick faces and packs it in the right carton with the right protection.

4. Dispatch. Orders leave with trusted couriers, with same-day and next-day options available.

5. Returns. We process returns and update your stock, so your channels stay accurate.

Packaging for pet food

Pet food is heavy, and a carton that holds a light parcel will not hold a large bag of kibble. Good pet food packaging comes down to four things.

Board strength matched to weight. Heavier orders need stronger board, such as double-wall corrugated, so the carton does not sag or split in the courier network.

The right carton size. A carton that fits the product closely stops bags from shifting and splitting. It also reduces the amount of filler needed.

Protection for the bag. Sharp corners and rough handling can puncture a sack. Inserts, wraps, or an inner liner stop contents from leaking into the carton.

Secure sealing. Well-sealed cartons survive the journey and look professional when they arrive.

If you sell pet food through a subscription, our subscription box fulfilment is built for repeat orders that need to be packed accurately every month.

Packaging for accessories, toys and fragile items

Bowls, ceramics, grooming tools and health products all need different protection.

Fragile items such as ceramic bowls need inserts or dividers so they cannot touch each other or the carton wall. See our fragile packaging service.

Toys and treats often benefit from branded packaging, because the box is part of the gift. Our custom cardboard boxes can be printed to match your brand.

Bundles and gift sets. Our kitting and bundling service assembles starter kits, treat boxes and gift sets to your specification, with custom inserts and thank-you cards included.

Bulky and heavy pet products

Cages, beds, litter and bedding take up space. We store them on pallet racking and pick from dedicated pick faces for faster orders, which keeps your costs predictable and your stock accessible. Read about our warehousing and storage options.

Pet products we fulfil

We handle pet food, including subscription box items, pet vitamins and supplements, food and water bowls, collars, leads and tags, grooming accessories, toys and treats, cages and beds, cleaning products, litter, bedding and substrate, pet health and dental care items, and costumes and other novelty items. A mixed catalogue is managed from one account.

Seasonal peaks and promotions

Pet gifting peaks at Christmas, and promotions such as Black Friday can multiply your order volume overnight. We plan capacity with you ahead of time, so your orders keep moving when demand spikes. See our Christmas and Black Friday fulfilment pages.

Pet supplies fulfilment FAQs

What is pet supplies fulfilment?

Pet supplies fulfilment is a 3PL service where a warehouse stores your pet products, then picks, packs and ships customer orders on your behalf. At Complete Packaging, this includes inventory management, pick and pack, packaging and dispatch.

Can you fulfil pet food and treats?

Yes. We fulfil pet food, including subscription box items, as well as treats, vitamins and supplements. Tell us about your product range, and we will talk you through how it would be stored and packed.

How do you pack heavy items such as litter and food sacks?

We choose board strength to match the weight, size the carton to the product and seal it securely. Heavy items such as litter and bedding are stored on pallet racking and picked from dedicated pick faces.

Do you do subscription box fulfilment for pet brands?

Yes. We assemble and dispatch recurring orders accurately each cycle, with custom inserts and branded packaging if you want them.

Which sales platforms do you work with?

We integrate with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, eBay and more, with real-time order syncing and live inventory tracking.

Can you make branded packaging for my pet products?

Yes. We design and supply custom cardboard boxes, printed packaging and inserts, and our CAD service can produce a new structural design if your product needs one.

How much does pet supplies fulfilment cost?

It depends on your stock volume, order volume, product size and shipping needs. We keep pricing transparent, and an operations survey is the quickest route to a clear quote. See our 3PL cost guide or fulfilment pricing.
